The tickets were sold out even before the day of the event arrived, setting the stage once again for a successful Full Moon Charity Walk.
Guests enjoyed the spectacular cloud formations, dramatic sunset and a Summer evening in nature. As the evening progressed, an electric thunderstorm crept closer and just when the last few guests finished the 10km route - the showers started. A refreshing end to the perfect day.
The food stalls (by the Potchefstroom Service Centre) were a hit and so were the condensed milk coffee and pancakes on the route. These were by no means the only surprises on the route - as guests were also treated to various water points with loads of sweets as well as live music (even a harmonica!).
At the Lekwena restaurant everyone enjoyed the view over the dam. Parents relaxed with a drink from the cash bar, while the kids made good use of the jumping castle.
The highlight however, was the opportunity to spend time in nature. With the fresh air, tranquility and a real sense of peace. A rare opportunity for most. A daily lifestyle for the residents of Lekwena Wildlife Estate.
