December 2015

Wildlife estate. Crisp morning air. Abundant animal life. Delicious breakfast - with a view!

What better way to start the day with?

On Friday 11 December 2015 an exclusive group of clients were treated to a Breakfast in the Bush by the Engel & Völkers Potchefstroom team on Lekwena Wildlife Estate situated 11km from Potchefstroom and only a short 90 min drive from Johannesburg.

The guests arrived at Lekwena Wildlife Estate just after sunrise and were taken on an early morning game drive where bursts of fresh morning air and curious wildlife greeted them.

The game drive ended at Annidam Picnic Area and Boma where the clients were welcomed by the friendly E&V Potchefstroom and Lekwena Wildlife Estate teams and enjoyed a fresh yogurt & seasonal fruit parfait while taking in the surrounding scenery. The scene that met the guests was a long white table set in the middle of the bushveld with the orange glow from the rising sun as background. After taking a leisurely stroll to the bird hide overlooking the Serengeti Dam and watching the abundant bird life for a while, the guests sat down at the specially prepared breakfast table to enjoy a freshly made breakfast.

Special encounters with wildlife – every day

The guests experienced a glimpse of what Lekwena Wildlife Estate owners experience every day – picturesque sunrises, close encounters with friendly wildlife neighbours and moments of peace and quiet – with only the sounds of nature in the background.  A lifestyle with the wild (literally) on your doorstep.

Each of the guests received an indigenous tree as a gift from Engel & Völkers Potchefstroom’s Tree Planting Project – with the aim to create a greener and healthier environment for the future.
