Residents of Lekwena Wildlife Estate can now broaden their knowledge while enjoying a stroll on the marked hiking trails in the Estate.

Professor Sarel Cillers, from the Potchefstroom Campus of the North West University, identified the trees earlier this year.Engel & Völkers Potchefstroom sponsored the tree tags and on Thursday 20 March the trees were officially tagged.

Lekwena is rich in tree life and boasts a large variety of trees, including the Highveld Cabbage Tree, Small-leaved Guarri, Broad-pod Robust Thorn and Puzzlebush.

Lekwena home owners also have the privilege of sponsoring tree tags – please contact us if you are interested.

Stands are now available for prospective buyers who would like to live in harmony with nature.
